The Live Update
Wow the website is live now, this is crazy. So here's what's live and what is coming.
Live Now
The main sections and (most) of the main subsections of the website are in place. A lot of links lead to generic landing pages, but they work! I think! (I clicked and double-clicked a lot of links so idk what is and isn't broken lmao).
About
The About section has some fun Gabe Facts™ in it. There will probably be more actual Gabe information in there as I figure out what I actually want to people to know. Or maybe it'll just be a dumping ground of shitposting, who knows?
Gabeipedia
The Gabeipedia will eventually be a one-stop-shop for all of the different characters, places, elements, etc. I have in my series. Currently there's only landing pages for the general and series-specific characters.
Books
The prologue and first chapter of Rebirth are both uploaded on the site!
Art
Eventually I'm going to have a gallery of all my art on the website, but for now just have a bunch of landing pages with nothing on them uwu
In the Works
Gabeipedia
Actual character pages are coming soon. I need to design the layout for the Gabeipedia entries and maybe a unique CSS sheet for them. I do have a list of characters who will be added to the Gabeipedia, and I'm just gonna work down that list.
I do want to add other categories into the Gabeipedia, but I have to figure out what first.
Books
I am going to add landing pages for all of the currently-released books, as well as links to where they can be purchased (which will probably live on the Table of Contents pages). I do want to add at least a few of the chapters onto the website, but I might release the full books. I'm considering my options.
I do need to make new CSS sheets for Age of the Black Empire and Shadows of Sur Posta, but those will come with time.
Art
The Art section is going to be a huge project. First I need to figure out what the gallery to look like. I barely figured out what I wanted the website to look like, so God knows making the gallery is going to be an Act of Congress.
After that is the slow process of adding the art. It'll happen when it happens.
I also want to upload all of the Some Dude comics, just for the sake of preservation. That will be a different Herculean task, because most of them only currently exist in physical form, so I have to re-scan all of them. But they will be added! Eventually.
That's the end of the updates. Did you find the secret message I cleverly hid in there? You probably didn't, because there isn't one, but wouldn't it have been cool if there was? Yeah.
